Chappel, Greg and Steve Allen started CGS in Russellville, Kentucky in 1994 in a 5,000-square-foot facility with 5 employees and a handful of customers. Nine years later, the Allens moved CGS operations to Bowling Green, Kentucky, and with hard work and dedicated employees the company has grown to include two 24,000-square-foot facilities, almost 60 employees and over 150 customers. CGS Machine has the capabilities to meet today's industrial and manufacturing needs. We use the latest technology combined with machining expertise from the past. We match the strength and experience of our older machinist, who works side by side with our younger "tech savvy" machinist to get the best practices from each generation. One of our specialty areas includes Fabricating/Welding, with our certified welders and a Certified Weld Inspector on-site we can handle any project. Kretler Tool & Engineering, Inc. was established in 1992, we are in our 17th year in Avilla, Indiana. We design and manufacture tools, fixtures, gauges, and special machinery. We utilize Autocad in our designs. We will also machine components to your design in our 10,000 sq. ft. facility. We have the general machine shop equipment: lathes, mills, drills, surface grinders, etc. We also have O.D./I.D. grinders, jig borers, jig grinder, blanchard grinder, CNC mill, and CNC lathe. We can also build prototypes and samples to your design or ours.
