TTM Plastics Inc., (TTM) a company formed in 1987, is a custom moulder of plastic parts using both thermoset and thermoplastic resins, located near Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. TTM currently services customers throughout Canada, U.S.A. and Mexico. Our foremost priority is to provide quality products competitively priced, which meet our customers’ design criteria and delivery schedules. To this end, TTM continues to build a team of professionals in the areas of engineering, quality assurance and manufacturing who will help to ensure our success. Our company was initially formed with the intent of becoming a prominent supplier of Thermoset products using compression and transfer equipment for phenolic, polyester and melamine resins. TTM utilized this technology to mould a range of components for large and medium sized electrical manufacturing companies as well as various products for consumer and distribution companies. In 1994, TTM expanded its operations to incorporate Thermoplastic injection moulding equipment for a wide variety of commodity and engineering resins. TTM provided injection-moulding services for a customer base that markets automotive parts, furniture products, sports equipment, electrical parts, packaging parts and consumer products. In 1998, TTM expanded to include Thermoset injection moulding equipment which it used to mould parts for the electrical and automotive industries. In 2000, TTM acquired its registration under the Controlled Goods Program monitored by the Canadian Federal Government. At which point, TTM began producing military components. In 2006, TTM achieved ISO9001:2000 registration. TTM also expanded its capabilities to include technology for moulding and automatically unscrewing thermoset Caps and Enclosures. TTM’s services include the management of mould construction. TTM can deliver a large number of well built moulds by sub-contracting this function to an extensive network of dedicated mould making facilities. TTM assumes the responsibility of having the quality mould built, tested and ready for production.
