About

Oak Ridge Fabrication Inc., now Oak Ridge Machining Inc., was started in the fall of 2007 in a 36' * 36' garage in Altura, Mn. We started out with the intent to become a full service machine shop but had very little equipment at the time. Our first projects included things like trailers and small welding and metal fabrication jobs. As we acquired additional equipment our capabilities were expanded to include manual machining as well as the metal fabrication.

Current co-owner Don Werner became our first full time employee in the summer of 2008. Shortly thereafter we added out first CNC Mill. Since then we have added Additional CNC Mills and CNC Turning to our list of capabilities, and well as additional employees. In the fall of 2009 we moved our shop to a new facility in the city of Winona to better serve our local customers and add additional floor space.

While our capabilities have expanded and the size and location of our facility have changed, our mission of being a premier CNC machined component supplier has not. We feel our focused mission allows us to be one of the best in the business at CNC machining processes.
