Founded in 1986, NRL & Associates, Inc. was first located in a small 1,300 sq. ft. building that tightly housed nine machines. In 1996, NRL moved to its second 28,000 sq. ft. location. NRL transitioned to its current ownership in 2006.

The three owners have worked tirelessly to help advance and expand NRL. In 2015, NRL moved into a 55,000 sq. ft. brand new facility that comfortably fits all 16 CNC machines, other operating equipment, and has plenty of room for growth. Since moving, NRL has invested over $3 million in new machining centers that are known in the industry for their ultra-precision; specifically, the three new 5-axis mills, which can hold up to a half a micron in accuracy. These new machines give NRL the ability to produce parts with a high mix and low volume. In addition, the technology associated with the new machines allows NRL to utilize “lights-out” machining during non-work hours.

Our new facility is climate-controlled and remains at 68° at all times. Furthermore, all of our machines are equipped with coolant cooling systems to ensure that there are no variances in parts due to temperature. We strive to re-invest in our company and update our facilities so we can stay competitive within the industry and offer our customers the best services in the market.
