1. Functions tasks of NeptechNew Product and Technology Center (NEPTECH) is a profitable administrativedivision that is under the leadership of Department of Science and Technology of Ho ChiMinh City. Neptech Center operates by autonomy mechanism, self-responsibilityaccording to Decree No. 115/2005/ND-CP dated 05/9/2005 of the Government. Inaccordance to Vietnamese law, Neptech Center has legal entity, seal and has the right toopen bank accounts. 1.1 Function- Carry out scientific research, decoding technology; transfer researched productsinto industrial production; develop human resources in mechanics - automationindustry.- Implement science and technology services.1.2 Tasks- Research and decode techniques to design and manufacture equipments thathave features similar to imported equipments with low cost; set up standards andprocedures, standardize designing manufacturing documents; set up standardsto allocate certification, organize training program for mechanics automationindustry,…- Coordinate with institutes, specialized research centers, processing andmanufacturing divisions to design, manufacture products, new equipments thatmarket has high demand of; and trial production of some products, equipments.- Support heads of projects, scientists to register patents for research results;support to commercialize research results and patented invention.- Implement science and technology services: design and manufacture industrialequipment; survey, calculate, design; transfer design and technology tomanufacture new products equipments for products; consult, train, evaluate andtransfer technology for bussiness in Vietnam and abroad; consult to do investmentprojects to renew technology equipments; train human resources for mechanicalengineering and manufacturing automation division.
