F J Mfg has been doing precision machining since 1959. For the last 53 years we have enjoyed an excellent reputation in the metro Detroit area for doing high quality work resulting in high customer satisfaction. We are the longest continuous users of Mori Seiki CNC lathes in the state of Michigan. Currently our customer list includes over 150 companies from a wide variety of industries.. We currently operate eleven CNC turning centers, with up to 4 axis turning capabilities. We can run up to 18 in. diameter and 40 in length. We are very proficient at special threading and hard turning. Three of our turning centers are equipped with bar feeders live tools and sub spindles for the manufacture of complete parts in one set up. All of our lathes are manufactured by Mori Seiki. We have six CNC machining centers with 4th axis capabilities up to 16 in dia and 60 in. long. We can run part up to 48 in. wide and 66 in. long. We have 3 Cat 50 taper and 3 Cat 40 taper machines. All of our mills are built by Mori Seiki and Makino. We have complete in house grinding capabilities. We have a complete inspection department with CMM and all necessary gauges.
