Located 60 miles south of Indianapolis, Excel Manufacturing specializes in machining precision parts and performing assembly operations for various manufacturers. We have 40 CNC vertical & horizontal machining centers and turning centers. Major customer markets include diesel engines, building elevators, automotive drive components, mounted bearing housings, commercial lawn garden transmission housings, commercial vehicle suspensions, high capacity pump impellers/housings and industrial brake parts. Annual volumes range from five to 250,000 pieces per year. Machined parts are made from cast iron, ductile iron, cast aluminum, cast steel, cast bronze, steel forgings, stainless steel and steel bar and aluminum bar. We also have long term experience with difficult to machine materials such as austempered ductile iron with 340 BHN. Size capabilities range from 2” diameter to parts 60” long and up to 500 pounds.
