DC Plastics & Tooling is a custom injection moulder and plastic injection toolmaking company located in Perth, Australia. The business is operated from a modern factory 20Km North of Perth, Western Australia where both moulding and toolmaking are performed onsite. We specialize in the moulding of small to medium size parts, up to 1.5kg; primarily producing parts for complex housings and enclosures for the communications and electronics industries. We operate with modern 210 tonne, 300 tonne, and 450 tonne injection moulding machines. Running on a two shift system with JIT delivery schedules. We also have expertise in common and engineering resins, filled or unfilled and are working towards full quality accreditation. Our in-house tool making facility offers the most sophisticated state-of-the-art high end CNC toolmaking using Unigraphics software. This allows us to produce world quality moulds for the minimum cost, compared to conventional toolmaking, coupled with this we have mature qualified toolmakers with maximum experience to give you a highly skilled toolmaking. We are experienced in product design, tool design, single cavity, multicavity, 3 plate and multicavity hot runner moulds. DC Plastics & Tooling manufacture moulds when required by overseas(international) customers. The advantages are exchange rates, speed of manufacture, quality of manufacture and approved samples prior to despatch of tool. The in-house product and tool design section has qualified staff to professionally engineer your product at low cost. Our 2-seat of Unigraphics CAD/CAM system is capable of bringing advanced computer modelling to new products thus enabling customers to visualise prior to the manufacture of products. Tools are designed by 3D computer solid modelling all parts, giving extreme accuracy and speed of completion. Should clients prefer to see a physical product, this can be achieved by rapid prototyping from the 3D computer solid modelling. Any product data can be sent via DXF, IGES or PRT.
