The company enjoys a defined market presence in the precision design and production of compression, extension, and torsion springs; four-slide products (clips and wire forms),and metal stampings. We are pleased to provide short run/secondary operations, prototypes, and customer engineering and design support. AARD specializes in the production of high-performance spring and wire products, implementing cost-effective, practical solutions regardless of project size or budget. Our seasoned professionals are well versed in developing customer products from blueprints, client samples, or just the basic parameters in fabricating spring and stamping components. Customers depend on AARD for intelligent and timely results. Initial design specifications can easily be analyzed and pre-tested in our computer-aided systems department. Potential anomalies are minimized through precise calculations for deflections. Loads and tolerances are continually addressed. AARD's advanced technology and production procedures are combined to accommodate a myriad of projects. Low to high volume, simple to complex. Round wire (diameter .006 to.5") flat wire with round or square edges (up to .5" width); square wire (.010 to .080"). Our customers most commonly utilize these types of wire: music wire, hard drawn, 300 series stainless steel, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper, chrome vanadium, chrome silicon, and aluminum, in round wire and flat stock. AARD MEANS QUALITY Identifying new technology, enhancing existing production processing, and developing innovative manufacturing procedures has not only benefited project flexibility and on-time delivery, it has also supported our efforts to comply with ISO 9002 standards, utilization of SPC techniques, matching statistical models for dimensional control, and rigid in-house capability review studies and histograms. In addition, our processing engineers utilize rigid X-Bar R charting and testing procedures to ensure an upper and lower control tolerance within an acceptable CPK value.
