Servotech is proud of our reputation as North America’s leading servo motor repair and refurbishment company. We are a business dedicated solely to the refurbishment of servo motors and repair of servo motor problems. We service the motors of yesterday and today from over 100 top servo manufacturers including Yaskawa, Siemens, Fanuc and more. It is our goal to be the most efficient and reliable servo motor refurbishment facility in the industry, and the solution to all your servo motor problems. Our servo motor repair and refurbishment company was founded by Michael Norman, who remains President of the business. A machinist by trade with a mechanical engineering degree, Mike has over 30 years of experience in the machining and manufacturing industries. He knows what is important to businesses that rely on machines, and knows the importance of quality servo motor repair services.
Servotech is staffed with expert servo motor repair technicians. Each technician belongs to a specialized department, based on their expertise. Our main staff categories are created to service: AC Servo Motor Repairs, DC Servo Motor Repairs, Spindle Servo Motor Repairs and Feedback Repairs.
In order to properly support our main departments we also have a Winding Department, Machining Department, Parts Cleaning Department, Painting Department, and Shipping Department. Within each servo motor repair team are technicians with the knowledge to work on over 100 servo motor manufacturers, such as Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Kollmorgen, and Reliance. No matter what type of motor and what type of repair, there is an experienced technician at Servotech ready to help.
We inspect all electrical and mechanical parts on the servo motors we repair. We examine bearing fits, housing fits, worn output shafts and corroded and or broken flanges. We will re-manufacture or repair any servo motor part that does not meet the factory specifications.
The final step of our servo repair and refurbishment process is to run your servo motor on a factory drive, just like the one in your machine. This final test allows us to make sure that all of the previous steps in our servo motor repair process were done correctly. It also allows us to run the servo motor at full voltages and full currents of the servo motor’s capability. We are constantly buying new drives in order to stay up to date with the manufacturer’s changes.
