TMI has a 13,000 sq ft facility with 8 CNC machining centers and 24 skilled employees with an average of over 20 years experience in this industry. We have been in operation since 1993. We believe that our approach to designing and building high quality production and prototype pattern tooling yields the lowest over all cost and allows the quickest time to market.We have successfully developed and built major tooling programs for companies such as Bell Helicopter, Pratt Whitney, GE, Boeing, Allied Signal, General Motors, Hamilton Sundstrand, Sikorsky, Avio, Bell and Honeywell. Applications Aerospace TMI continues to be a world class leader in the production of aerospace tooling. Engine components such as gear boxes, oil tanks, fuel controls, housing and front frames are a few of the many aerospace tooling projects produced by our experienced work force. Commercial TMI's involvement in commercial tooling market is extensive. We service the farm implement and automotive industries, building tools for a variety of casting processes to produce transmissions, pumps, motors, compressor housings, as well as drive train components. Originally started as Doerco Industries, Inc. was founded by Fred Doerschein and his wife Verna in 1990. Since then, the company was purchaed by Sam and Rich and became S R Tool inc. in 1999. The company has expanded to much under our tenure. We outgrew the previous facility rather quickly because of the number of machines we were adding. We now have a 10,428 sq ft facility housing many machines. We are a job shop specializing in CNC machining high precision components. Some of our customers are currently in the semi-conductor, aerospace ,optical, and medical fields. Business is always changing. We are continuing to add new equipment in order to keep up with these changes. We are always striving to stay on the forefront of machining technology. J&E Manufacturing Co. is a custom manufacturer of sheet metal fabrications and stampings. The Company also has welding, machining, assembly and powder painting capabilities. The Company was founded in 1972 and provides fabrications and stampings to businesses located in approximately 30 states around the country. The majority of these sales presently come from the Upper Midwest. Annually, the Company provides parts and services to 100 – 150 customers. The primary facility is located in Lakeville, Minnesota, a southern suburb of Minneapolis and contains 60,000 s.f. of manufacturing and office space . A second facility in Amery, Wisconsin provides 10,000 s.f. of additional powder painting and assembly capacity.
