Machining experience includes ~10 years of work on milling machines, metal lathes and CNC mills. Multiple custom jobs designed, machined and fabricated for university graduate thesis project apparatus. While Hansen Precision is only 2 years old, Rich Hansen has spent time in multiple shops learning skills in custom machining to full production runs of hundreds of parts.

Hansen Precision has done extensive custom work for the antique aircraft restoration community over the past two years. We have completed multiple production runs of parts for the oil and gas industry (valve parts).

The equipment in the shop includes a 9 x 35 mill, 13 x 40 Lathe and a Mitsu 20 x 9 Surface Grinder. All measuring, gauging and set up tools as required for machining projects are organized in the shop.
