This RFQ was sourced on in USA for Lapping

These are steel disc that need to be  ground(stock removal phase) and then  lapped(to hold precision size) to a +/- 0.000050" thickness tolerance. The disc  are hardened to about 60 HRc at this  time. Some of the disc may be 52100  tool steel some will be D-2 tool steel.  The edges need to be protected from  damage once the parts are finished. We  will consider this a test job and if  the work can be done in at an  acceptable price and if the work can be  done to our required specifications  more work could follow. At that time we  may require the supplier to sign a non- disclosure agreement.  Thank you!
