steel disc This RFQ was sourced on www.MFG.com in USA for Lapping These are steel disc that need to be ground(stock removal phase) and then lapped(to hold precision size) to a +/- 0.000050" thickness tolerance. The disc are hardened to about 60 HRc at this time. Some of the disc may be 52100 tool steel some will be D-2 tool steel. The edges need to be protected from damage once the parts are finished. We will consider this a test job and if the work can be done in at an acceptable price and if the work can be done to our required specifications more work could follow.
