PLUG, SHOULDER PER DWG. C9629-1-01, COPY IN YOUR POSSESSION, FORGED CARBON STEEL SA-105, ZINC  PLATED, 1-1/8" DIA FOR 1" OD TUBES, 1-1/4" OVERALL (3/4"  UNDER GASKET LANDING) LENGTH BETWEEN PLUG HEAD AND GASKET SURFACE MUST BE 1/2" SHOULDER PLUGS: 1)  THE THREADS ON EVERY 25TH SHOULDER PLUG PRODUCED SHALL  BE CHECKED USING A CALIBRATED THREAD RING GAUGE.  A  CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE CERTIFYING THAT THIS EXAMINATION  WAS SATISFACTORILY PERFORMED IS REQUIRED. 2)  THE GASKET SURFACE UNDER THE HEX HEAD SHALL BE 63-125  RMS. 3)  ALL MATERIALS SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASME CODE  EDITION 2001, A00. 4)  ONE (1) COPY OF THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER’S CERTIFIED  MATERIAL TEST REPORT SHALL ACCOMPANY THE MATERIAL UPON  DELIVERY.  IN ADDITION, ONE (1) COPY OF THE TEST REPORT(S)  SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE INVOICE.  EACH TEST REPORT SHALL  BE MARKED WITH THE ECODYNE MRM INC PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER  AND THE LINE ITEM THAT THE TEST REPORT CORRESPONDS TO. 5)  BAR STOCK FOR SHOULDER PLUGS SHALL BE RADIALLY  EXAMINED BY THE ULTRASONIC METHOD.  LINEAR INDICATIONS  EXCEEDING 3/8" ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.  CERTIFICATION THAT  THIS EXAMINATION WAS PERFORMED IS REQUIRED. 6)  SHOULDER PLUGS SHALL BE SHIPPED IN HEAVY CARDBOARD  BOXES. 7) ANY DUAL CERTIFICATION OF MATERIAL MUST BE APPROVED BY  ECODYNE PRIOR TO USING. 8)  ALL PAPERWORK, CARTONS, ETC. MUST BE TAGGED WITH  PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER. 9)  FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS  PURCHASE SPECIFICATION SHALL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION.
