Torsional Ultimate Strength Testing - to Failure This item was sourced on www.MFG.com as one of the items in an RFQ in USA for Testing Services Five (5) existing shafts need to be tested for torsional strength - to yield and to failure. Buyer will be mailing the shafts to you. The shafts are 410mm long and 22.2mm in the smallest diameter. They are made from different grades of steel. The expected maximum torque is under 5000 N*m, which is the minimum torque requirement for your torsional testing machine. Buyer would like to provide the couplers with the matching ID splines to use with the end splines of these shafts. The couplers can be machined or modified, if needed, and used for holding the ends of the shafts. Buyer would like a brief test report of the five tests, several digital photos, and perhaps a short video of the testing. The destroyed shafts do not need to be returned.
