This item was sourced on www.MFG.com as one of the items in an RFQ in USA for Bending

1/4" Outside Frame Channel

2103-1 & 2103-2 are bent opposite creating a left and right set.

Critical dimensions to hold are the 1.5" flange width and 3.00" flange height.  Slight adjustments to the flat pattern are allowed with slight bend radius variations.

Part must be bent straight so frame sits flat on an inspection table.

Bending: Bending is a flexible process that allows many different shapes to be produced. Standard die sets are used to produce a wide variety of shapes. The material is placed on the die, and positioned in place with stops and/or gages. It is held in place with hold-downs. The upper part of the press, the ram with the appropriately shaped punch descends and forms the v-shaped bend. Forming is similar to bending. Complex parts such as U-sections, channel sections of different profiles can be produced by doing multiple bends. Roll forming is a continuous metal forming process that takes sheet, strip, or coiled stock and bends or forms it into shapes of essentially identical cross section by feeding the metal between successive pairs of rolls that increasingly shape it until the desired cross section is completed adding both strength and rigidity to lightweight materials.
