Hose

This item was sourced on www.MFG.com as one of the items in an RFQ in USA for Paint

Currently mark hoses with varying length lines, 5mm wide,  using paint markers, requiring the steps of acquiring  marker, aiming marker, marking, and returning marker to  holding location.  Would like to develop a new method to  mark hoses using reducednumber of steps.  I have  hypothesized a mounted, spring loaded, self-inking stamp  type assembly with paint instead of ink, but have not found  a workable assembly.  I would like a low maintenance, one  motion step to create the mark, and it should be very  compact so it can be mounted on current assembly jigs.

Paint: Painting is the process of applying a paint coating. Paint coatings bond to the surface of the part and provide numerous functions such as protection, durability, conductivity, shielding, and decoration. Metal parts often require a phosphate or chromate conversion or a primer to enable the bond between the surface of the part and the paint coating.
