Brass Retaining Clip This item was sourced on www.MFG.com as one of the items in an RFQ in USA for Forming Production of a Brass Retaining Clip (Forming). Approximately 0.818 inch OD x 0.75 inch long. Please see drawing for all specifications. This is one of three parts posted for the same end product. Please quote for the other parts as well, as preference will be given to a vendor who can produce all three. This clip is made to secure a small (1.6 mm OD) brass tube inside a brass plumbing fitting (see pictures). It is important that good compression is made with the tube so it is tight, and it cannot be easily pulled or pushed out of place. This requires that the overall length be exactly right, since once installed the two open ends will be pushed together so they touch. While the Solidworks model is close, finding the exact right length that gives the proper compression may take a few iterations. Buyer can supply the fitting and copper tube so you can verify it snaps in correctly. Please quote for an initial prototype quantity of 150, and also at the higher volumes once part is in production.
