15/16-20 Unef-2A Nut

This item was sourced on www.MFG.com as one of the items in an RFQ in USA for Milling & Turning

Production of a nut. Approximately 1.1250" OD x 0.1875" long. Please see drawing for dimension specifications. This is a simple threaded part which will go inside an enclosure to fasten a connector. The connector is plastic and therefore the material choice for this nut is unimportant as well as surface finish. Knurls are shown on the part but are not required. The only important factors are the width (.1875inches) , the outer diameter (1.125inches) and the 15/16-20 UNEF-2A threads internally. The part should be deburred at the edges or filleted at the outside edges for ease of handling.

Milling & Turning: Milling and Turning, or CNC milling and turning will fall in this process, or manual milling is the process used to produce prismatic components. A rotating cylindrical cutter with multiple flutes, commonly called an endmill, traverses along multiple axes to machine features such as slots, pockets and profiles. Turning, CNC turning, or manual turning is the process used to produce cylindrical components. A cylindrical piece of stock is rotated and a cutting tool is traversed along 2 axes of motion to produce precise diameters and depths.
