Cruise Ship Design
We are investigating options to source scale ship models
in the North American Trade
region. We are currently doing business in the Far East
for model development and Rubber
Molding production.
Our current need is to locate and qualify potential
vendors capable of producing Drawings/3-D models, and FDM
prototypes or similar to be used for
Rubber Molding production.
We have an impending design that we would like to work
with a new vendor to develop.
Our scope beyond the first design is expected to be a new
design each month -
ongoing.
We intend to provide photographic illustrations with
markups, pictures, and/or physical
samples where possible to complete CAD layouts.
The pictured (previewed) ship is approx 12" long and is
similar to the design of our current
need. Future designs may be larger.
Flexibility exists to alter designs in relation to
production needs. Current designs use
multibody constructions with the "Hull" or "Super
Structure" being one or two pieces and
supported by other main components (Stacks, Propeller,
etc.).
Specific retail pricing, current costs, and targets will
be discussed as needed with qualified
suppliers.
As we intend to move to production upon RP completion, we
hope to find a single source
vendor that can handle all aspects from RP to Molding to
Assembly and Packaging.
