Belt Description:
Standard metric timing belt with urethane molded to O.D.
Statement of Work: The part I am trying to replace is a
standard metric timing belt that has been modified by the
addition of urethane being cast to the back side of the
belt. The urethane has a concave profile that is used to
cradle .5" tubing and drive the tube through a polishing
machine. Hope this helps. We are attempting to try
casting the urethane ourselves at the moment. Between the
low, low volume of these that we need and the chance that
we may be successful at making them ourselves, there is a
possibility we may not award the RFQ. Estimates based on
tools and 12 pieces is appreciated.
