Hydraulic Circuit Manifold
This is a rectangular hydraulic circuit manifold measuring
16" x 12" x 8".
Application is for a hydrostatic transmission auxiliary
circuit and the part
requires special tooling for things such as SAE port
cavities as well as DIN cartridge valve
cavities and standard SUN cartridge valve cavities.
Material may be a structural grade plate steel as opposed
to 65-45-12 ductile iron, but
surface finishes of 32 microinch must be obtained for
sealing surfaces. Overall improved
machiniability and surface finishes of ductile iron make
it the preferred choice for this
application. Due to the lower pressure of this
application, if there would be a significant cost
savings associated with using 6061-T6 aluminum then that
would also be acceptable with
approval.
In addition, there are a couple of custom cavities for
which the necessary support drawings
have been included.
