Guideway Beam
Production of a guideway. Approximately 103.500" long x
10.00" wide x 6.00" tall. Please see drawing for
dimension specifications. Machine both ends of tube flat,
square and parallel and drill and tap 1/4 20 hole
pattern in tube wall and mill 4 radial key slots. Mill 12
pockets 2.75" square 0.125" deep and drill and tap two
holes thru along one 6" side of the rectangular tube. The
work is best suited to a large horizontal boring mill with
a rotary table. See attached preliminary part drawing.
