UCISAT FRAME PART (right side)
Frame part for one side of UC Irvine CUBESAT has max rail
length of 4.469" (~113.5mm) and
width of 3.937" (100mm) CNC milled out of Al 7075 T6.
All holes are threaded: one hole on top of one rail for 8-
36 spring plunger, rest of
holes are for M2.5x.45 and M3x.5 screws.
The 4.469" rails must have 1.6 surface texture and hard
anodized.
Notes:
-additional attachment points for circuit boards have yet
to be added for the completionof design.
-between rails, an Al 6061-T6 panel of 3.262" width and
0.063 thickness will be fastened.
