Looking for a supplier to grind the OD and 2 ID’s of this
part.
All areas of the part are machined to print and the part
is chrome plated prior to sending to
you. The 3 diameters to grind each have approx. .005 per
side of material to grind.
Specifically, the 8.7400/8.7390 OD (Note that this is
partly AMS6322 and partly AMS2406
chrome plating. Please note the surface finish and
waviness requirement as well.)
Additionally, there are 2 ID’s to grind (7.2770/7.2762
Diameter and 5.5201/5.5193 diameter.)
We machine the 2 ID’s first then rabbet on one of them and
machine the OD.
This is a part we can send to someone right away.
Also, we have many parts with similar types of grinding
