Clip Fin
We are looking to have a clip fin press formed or roll
formed in aluminum and/or copper. We use these in our
radiant heating systems.
Presently the fins we use are press formed from 0.030"
aluminum. This is not workingas well as we require because
the centre "C" is more of a "U" shape, and the company we
presently use does not have the capability to make the
required changes. Are you able to add more of a "C" shape
to the centre?
The thickness would be from 0.008" to 0.020" depending on
the standard thickness of
material you carry.
The basic dimensions are as follows 15" long x 8" wide,
with a 0.640 ID "C" formed down
the centre length. The piece should be thin enough
material that it would "clip" onto a 0.630" OD pipe.
The opening of the "C" would be ~0.540" or some size that
would work with the flexibility
of the material.
