Coating of a steel rod. The buyer is looking for a price
quote for the following item with specific coating paints.
The material: the buyer has a 3/8” steel rod 37” total
length. 30” long, bent 90 degrees and 2 other smaller 45
degree bends.
The initial order is for 1500 total rods to be powder
coated for a new product that the buyer is developing.
This will be their initial order and the volume potential
could be significant into 2006. This is for an initial
pilot market test of the product. The buyer is planning
3 different colors of this product at a quantity of 500 of
each color. These rods should be available for painting
this week.
The buyer is looking for the best price and service from
Georgia based powder coaters and request a price quote for
the following 6 possibilities… (quote this with the
initial quantities and any other volume discounts that may
apply.)
1) Powder color – Blue Sparkle – Omega Caliber IF6141 -

** opportunity – the buyer is looking for bright, rich
metallic powders, if you have a suggestion, or have a
powder in stock that you feel would meet this need. Feel
free to quote the buyer on that as well. The bottom
line is that they buyer is looking for a high metallic
powders – in mainly non-metal (silver, grey, charcoal)
colors.
