Please allow me the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is James Finn and I just recently opened my own machine shop, Finn Machine, LLC, of which I am the sole proprietor. I have been a CNC programmer/machinist (manual as well) for 14 years, with the bulk of my experience working on prototype designs. Over those years, however, I have handled numerous production projects as well.
My goal at Finn Machine is to provide the absolute highest quality of work coupled with the best price available. I firmly believe that I can accomplish this concept for two reasons. First, all of the work is personally done by me. Since I have a high standard of quality concerning dimensional integrity as well as cosmetic finish, the buck stops with me. If the final product doesn't meet with your satisfaction, I will do whatever I can within my power to correct it. Secondly, because I am the sole proprietor, my overhead ratio is substantially lower than that of the larger machine shops. Therefore, I don't have to charge as much, but can still maintain high quality, and pass the savings on to my customers. And I will.
Finally, I pride myself on honesty and integrity. Finn Machine doesn't engage in deceptive or false business practices. Transparency is of the highest importance to me and I have no problem disclosing the truth, especially when it comes to delivery dates and project progress.
