Our Mission: Our mission is to bring precision sheet metal prototyping experience with historical family values to the central Illinois area.
Keys to Our Success: Our success is based upon rapid turnaround of high quality jobs; hence a high customer satisfaction level. Our success is based upon years of experience fabricating extremely complex parts and assemblies with the understanding of cost containment for the customer. Our success is based upon our ability ot team with the customer`s design engineers to improve manufacturing processes; thereby reducing cost; thereby creating a close working relationship with the customer. Our success is based upon utilizing one of the most reliable and versatile CNC press brakes in the country facillitating rapid throughput of work.
Our Experience: Began our maufacturing career in Jan 1977, and launched into precision sheet metal fabrication in spring 1982. Worked in job shops supplying close tolerance prototype and production for companies such as 3M, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, the military, NCS, and the SPX Corporation. During this time developed simple brake tooling system for radius forms that changed out in seconds and saved the employer thousands of dollars in tooling and set-up time. Developed innovative process for salvaging defective formed parts that had been plated and/or painted without significantly damaging finish. One job alone over 10,000 dollars were saved in remaking parts and additionally avoided the more costly liquidated damages by the customer. Also during this time wrote press brake training manual that was used in the classroom for employee development. In 1997 began work for start up company to develop their prototype department. In eight years, this company became widely recognized as handling the most complex prototype weldments, fabrications, and assemblies in the entire region. This is our experience.
