AMG uses an efficient, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to CNC machine or turn your custom engineered metal and plastic components. We can handle difficult 3D surfaces and 5 axis milling. We work directly from your CAD data (IGES, STEP, DXF, X_T) or drawings if no data is available. In addition to our in house capabilities we have a time tested array of sub-contractors to handle almost any plating, painting, or heat treating.
We have vast experience in in custom fixture and work holding design. We recently tooled 80 part numbers on a contract basis for a large aviation aftermarket parts manufacturer. We specified the lathe machine tool, sourced the work holding design and build to Kitaigawa-NorthTech and wrote tool path programs for each part. This included use of live tooling for engraving lot numbers and use of an integrated Renishaw touch probe for dimensional inspection and automatic offset adjustment. Then delivered a turn key package installed on the customer's shop floor.
We offer both prototype and production for a wide array of industries including Automotive, Medical, Consumer Electronics, RF technologies, Navy and Aerospace. Our typical lead time is 2 weeks and we offer free expediting if machine time is available.
