Ad Astra Rocket Company’s machine shop services produced the unique, precise, and challengingly shaped parts required by the VASIMR™ engine. The same knowledge and capabilities required to produce these parts are also available for external customers. We specialize in one of a kind and medium quantity machining and have over 25 years of experience. Our facility also includes a 150 cubic meter vacuum chamber capable of base pressures in the 10^-7 Torr region. This chamber is large enough to fit a school bus inside and can be made available for component and system testing requirements.
