What is Engraving & Marking?

Engraving / Marking is process in which printing is produced in the surface of materials making the printing more durable than stamping, silk screening, or printing on the surface of the material. Engraving / Marking can be done by cutting material with a rotary cutting tool or laser, or as a photomechanical process in which a negative is used to scribe on the material. Removing the resulting photographic emulsion from the material leaves the required marking on the material.
