Francois d'Ivernois

General Manager, Europe


 

Francois is the General Manager of MFG.com's marketplace and LiveSource.com business in Europe.  He has overall responsibility for the growth and quality of the marketplace as well as growing the base of the LiveSource.com customers in Europe.
 
François has a strong background in Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain and was a key player in the success of SourcingParts.com which has been acquired by MFG.com in 2006. As Vice President of Sales & Development, he was in charge of growing the revenue of the European company through defining the product roadmap as well as building a strong customer base form very different industries such as Thalès, Safran, Schneider Electric, Dassault Aviation, Cartier, MGI Coutier, Babolat.  Prior, François worked for a decade in the hydraulic and Industrial hose industry, building his deep domain experitse in the manufacturing industry.
 
Francois servead as Senior Sales Director for the French subsidiary of SAIAG group where he was in charge of managing the sales strategy combining a network of distributors located mainly in Europe and Africa, and internal sales teams. François was responsible for defining the pricing strategy, building alliances & partnerships as well as intently focusing on customer satisfaction through an customer feedback program he designed.
 
Prior to SAIAG, François worked for the ITR division of Pirelli as sales manager during 5 years where he established a network of distributors in France and direct sales to European OEMs of the crane industry such as Case, Liebherr, Claas, Furukawa, Mecalac, Manitou.  François also ran the sales and logistic activity of the european washing machine hoses business unit, managing the mass production of over 20.000 hose assemblies /day for brands such as Miele, Bauknecht, Whirlpool, Bosch Siemens, Brandt, Candy, Hoover and Hotpoint.
 
Before the ITR Pirelli Experience, François was Export Sales Manager of Socado, a French company specialized in hose assemblies for OEM of the agriculture market, where he gained his intital industrial experience. François was then selected  to become the Sales Manager  when ITR Pirelli acquired the company.
 
François holds a diploma of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion with an MBA of the Manhattan Institute of Management. He served in the French Army in one of the oldest French corps : l’Armée du Train and is fluent in French and English.
