Production of a drawn leg_std_tube. Approximately 1" OD x
21" long. Material is aluminum, manufacturer may suggest
most cost effective solution. Please see drawing
for all specifications. Unless otherwise stated, the drawing
takes precedence. The buyer is bidding on this job for a
customer. Although the order is not firm at this time, the
buyer will notify all quoting parties once a decision has
been made.
Please note that this RFQ is part of an assembly. All RFQ#s
224836, 224837, 224838, 224839, 224840, 224841, 224842,
224843, 224844, 224845, and 224846 are in the assembly. The
parts have been split into separate RFQs because Buyer will
specifically require itemized pricing. The assembly will
include tube bending and molding work. Buyer will consider
awarding the molding to one manufacture and the tube bending
to another. It is, however, Buyer’s preference to award the
entire package to a single manufacture with the competency
and capacity to manufacture and assemble this product.
Quality and cost effectiveness are critical to the success
of this project. It is for these reasons Buyer ask that
Supplier only quote if they are in a position to manufacture
and assemble the entire product or all of the tube bending
or molding work.
Buyer will require samples of each of the parts
before full production can be awarded.
