Assembly includes:
1) PCB approx 20mm x 50mm, thru hole, ~12 components.
2) One special component requiring gluing operation:
-TO220 package, clip 3 leads to 4mm length, then
remove the center pin entirely.
-Solder two 30awg stranded wires (red and blk) to
leads 1 and 3 respectively.
-3M scotchweld epoxy adhesive 2216 is used to seal
the leads (w/o interfering with the bolt-down ability of
the semiconductor) This will require some fixturing.
3) Three wires, 4" long, 20 awg stranded, red, black, and
blue. These wires terminate in the PCB. The black wire
is spliced 2" from the end with another black wire.
Forming a 4" long Y shape. The junction is soldered and
heat-shrunk. The 5 wires will be strain relieved by tying
together with a 3" zip tie. The red and black special
component wires should be left with 1/2" extra slack
between the tie-point and the pcb to allow good strain
relieving.
4) Program one Microchip Pic12F683 flash MCU with buyer
supplied .hex file and eeprom contents. The eeprom will
be serialized.
5) PCB should be serialized with starting value supplied
by buyer.
Gerber files attached. Product photo’s attached.
