FINISHERS
These are Mill Stands in a Steel Mill. They are being machined and refurbished. after this process, they will be shipped to a powder coater for coating. The color will be blue gloss. Attached are 5 pictures of the stands. In photo #1 = an assembeled stand. The top portion is the "head". this gets coated the small bump on the left is a hydraulic motor. this needs to be protected. there are also 4 holes on the underside of the head that the posts go into that need to be protected. photo #4 = this is a finished bearing assembly. you will not see the blue caps or the posts. the bearing bores, the post bores and the outsides that have been machined and lined with aluminum-bronze need to be protected. photo #5 = the restbar is already installed. you will recieve it seperate. everything on the restbar that is blue will be coated, everything that is "shiny" will be protected. the corner of the stand that is standing up, has a machined face on the right-hand side that needs to be protected. the very bottom of the cornerpost that is currently touching the pallet needs to be protected, as a plate gets reinstalled. photo #6 = same as #5 except the other side. you will notice the blue post holder in the middle of the cornerpost. that will not be coming to you. you can notice the machining and wear liners in this photo that were hidden in #5. photo #7 = same as the others. this side is almost completed. you will not see any of the caps,posts,bearings,covers,etc. To recap.........You will see, 4 bearing blocks, 1 head, 4 cornerposts and a maximum of 2 restbars. some stands will require only 1 restbar be coated.
