Carbon Neck
Production of carbon neck (Lay-Up Molding). Approximately 35.19 inch x 3.607 inch x 1.986 inch. Please see drawing for all specifications. Neck for an electric bass to be made out of s glass, carbon fiber, or hybrid kevlar/carbon cloth, please indicate in quote on which material/s the quote is in reference to. Lay up thickness needs to be .1 to .125in. Material weight should be no more than 10.9oz per yard for carbon fiber, below 10 for glass, and weave should be either 4 or 8 harness, or 2x2 twill. Epoxy resin needs to be used. Some machining is required, please see drawings. Satin finish is required. If quoting on fiber glass, 2 layers of decorative black fiber glass should be on outermost layer.
