Bracket, Mounting, Pick-light
Production of a mounting bracket. Approximately 3.78" long x
3.64" wide x 0.4" tall. This part is being used in a small
optical scanning device. The buyer has shipped 30 systems,
to date, and just received an order Fri for 40 more for
delivery in Sept. Their client is in the early start-up
phase and expects to use 200 per year, starting next
year. They indicated that there will be another order for 20
or 40 systems in Sept (following this first 40). Qty 1 of
part 50-041 is used on each system. Please let the buyer
know if there are any tolerancing concerns or if you need to
know more about the design intent. The buyer sells the
finished scanning device, and so have complete design
control of this component. They are currently making this
part in a traditional sheetmetal shop (bending / forming),
but feel that it lends itself to stamping. If there are
draft angle issues or other minor design changes that would
facilitate fabrication, don’t hesitate to suggest them.
