Production of a body. The buyer requires an aluminium body
for a special tool to be manufactured in 6082 T6 aluminium
or equivalent. The blank size is approximately 91mm x 83mm x
40mm. The buyer believes that forging this part for high
volume requirements will be a more economical option as they
are currently machining them from solid extruded bar stock.
They would also like to get a cost for finish machining.
Forging tool may be needed. Please see drawing for specific
dimensions.
