George Evans Corporation is a Fourth Generation Family Firm located in the far west of (Moline) Illinois. We are 2.5 hours from North America's largest metal market in Chicago and have trading relationships with most of the Warehouses in the area. We have access to the metal without the high overhead of living in a major metropolitan area.We do extensive work for several OEM's in off road equipment and agriculture. We work from 28 gage to 1" Plate in ferrous materials. Our people have special competency in laser cutting, press brake forming and small to medium size weldments. Machining services are handled next door across the alley. Painting, plating and packaging are all available in our area from multiple vendors. We also work in Stainless Steel and Aluminum, but our lasers are limited to .500" thick material.ISO 9001:2008 registered by the British Standards Institute (BSI), GEC will cheerfully fill out your quality system forms and comply with your system's requirements for documentation.We are willing to reconfigure our floor plan to create cells for your particular project.
