The company was founded by Mario Velasco on December 1 st 1994, motivated by his technical knowledge and experience as well as the need to supply the national market with a brand name that will manufacture and deliver products of high quality on a professional basis to the thriving garment industry. Currently S-M Attachment has customers in Central America, Mexico and USA thanks to the excellent craftsmanship and on time delivery. We specialize in the manufacturing and design of parts and attachments for sewing machine, obsolete and discontinued parts as well. Due to the highly trained and skilled workmanship our machine shop has been succesful with the manufacturing of parts for different types of industries such as shoe, food, medical, and packaging to mention a few.
Our Capabilities
MACHINING and Turning: 10 vertical and 2 horizontal milling machines, 2 lathes, 1 surface grinding machine, 1 vertical CNC machine.
We can also do in house heat treatment for most of the parts we manufacture.
WELDING and FABRICATION: Tig and Mig welding, spot welding, oxyacetylene, bending, cutting, punching and pressfitting, POWDER PAINTING and conventional paint, buffing and polishing.
Anodizing of aluminum is another service we can provide for a final touch to your project.
