Kusters Zima Corporation (KZC) has been in business since 1974 as an OEM engineering and manufacturing operation located in Spartanburg, S.C. which was initially formed with product machinery offerings in the textile and carpet industries. KZC’s continued diversification and expansion into other industrial fields such as waste water treatment, fuel cell technology, torrefaction, food industry as well as providing manufacturing support to other OEMs and manufacturers, has allowed us to establish an excellent name known for quality and reliability of our products. From the beginning, we have strongly believed that the formula to success includes building relationships, applying sound business principles, providing solutions to our customers and having honesty and integrity as the cornerstone in all of our dealings with customers, associates, and suppliers. This formula is as valid today as it was then.
Our 90,000 square foot manufacturing facility is capable of handling most projects regardless of size and produces quality equipment and parts whether it’s from your drawings and specifications or our own. World-class technology and quality reinforce our ability to design, engineer, manufacture and assemble a complete production line or produce one single custom part. - ASME certified welders who perform both Tig and Mig welding operations of various materials.

- Bystronic 4020 Laser –3000 watt – 79” x 158” sheet cutting dimensions – Interchangeable cutting beds - Max
thicknesses; ½” stainless, ¾” carbon steel, ¼” aluminum, 3/8” plastic (Lexan, UHMW, etc)
- Amada CNC Press Brakes – 240 tons, 220 tons and 90 tons – up to 148” max length
- Dainichi CNC Turning Centers with up to 49” between centers and 14” turning diameters
- OKK CNC Vertical Milling Centers with 24 tool turret and 40” x 20” x 20” bed movement
- Manual lathes that vary in size from the smallest parts lathes to 33” swing diameters and 320” (26-1/2 ft.) between
centers.
- Complete mechanical & electrical assembly for production machines, as well as proto-types.
- We also offer a complete engineering staff that has the capability to take a concept idea from start to finish. Our design
staff is equipped with the latest editions of AutoCAD and Solidworks to create layouts, design details and complete
assembly drawings.
