An ISO 9001:2000 accredited company, KHEISB has successfully operated business for over 30 years. 1973• Kum Hoi Engineering Industries set up by Mr. Chan Kum Hoi himself with only one manual lathe machine.• Business expanded from here onwards 1983• Kum Hoi Engineering Industries S/B. was formed and relocated to Subang Jaya.• More CNC machines were installed. 1993• Kum Hoi Engineering S/B was shifted into present building on a 12266.02 sq metres site in Subang Jaya, Selangor. • Additional 70 units of CNC machines were installed.• Implemented Material Resources Planning (MRP) System.• Sheet Metal Works department was set up. 1995• Supporting our customer, Carrier International in the project of fabricated sheet metal and housing for air-conditioning system at the Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok International Airport. 1996• Epoxy Powder Coating department was set up. 1997• CNC Machine has increased from 90 to 120 units 2002• Further upgrading with investment in laser cutting and robotics technology. • Associate with Tractors Malaysia in the project of fabricated sheet metal enclosure for gas turbine generator in Putrajaya, Administrative Capital of Malaysia. 2003• Obtained ISO 9001: 2000 Certification.• Invest in 2nd Laser Machine - Bystronic 2004• Increased robot welding machine.• Invested in Salvagnini Machine.• Invested in 3rd Laser Machine (TRUMPF)• Invested in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for QC checking 2005• Invested in the 4th Laser Machine – TRUMPF• KHEI Sdn.
