Kemex Inc.
The company was started in 2000, and its primary strength is providing custom-engineered machinery and systems. With an average of 18 years of experience in engineering and fabrication, the company has successfully designed more than 30 custom machines and/or systems for industrial customers. Some examples of the machinery produced include: specialty conveyors, casting equipment, bulk material handling/feeding, heat transfer, chemical fluid transfer, mixing, and pressure boosting. A complete packaged piece of equipment is engineered, fabricated, wired, and tested in-house. Kemex, Inc. also offers drafting, engineering, shop fabrication, process piping, field installation, and automation/controls services as needed for customers not requiring a complete system.
The leadership of Kemex, Inc. believes in maintaining relationships with its customers and working with them on a continuing basis over a variety of projects. The company has performed work for a relatively small number of customers because a substantial amount of repeat contracts have been awarded. These customers are in the following industries: metal smelting/refining, automotive, chemical/waste/environmental processing, specialty/medical gases, dairy, and manufacturing. The
Kemex, Inc. employees have very high standards for their personal and job performance. Their integrity translates into quality workmanship at each step of the design and fabrication process. Great attention to detail, thoroughness, and independent checking are the guides. The company creates detailed shop drawings and work instructions and the design engineer directly over sees fabrication and testing. Welding processes meet the intent of AWS D1.1 or ASME as required. All mechanical testing is documented and often is video taped for customer observation upon request. Pressure testing of piping and systems is conducted to meet the intent of ASME as applicable and is documented.
Kemex, Inc. provides value to its customers by treating them fairly and striving to deliver the best design solution for their specific needs. The company works to achieve a balance of functional performance, reliability, maintenance simplicity, and economics in all of its machines. Customers work directly with the design engineer through the entire process to ensure that the scope and specification requirements are clearly established and understood. Because the company is small, it exercises its ability to be flexible and adapt to unique requests, for engineering, fabrication, and/or testing.
