J.H. Benedict Co., Inc. was founded in 1945 to serve a particular need of the manufacturing community in Central Illinois.  Mr. Benedict, "Ben", saw a need for a machine shop devoted to the designing and building of stamping dies, jigs and fixtures.  Today the company serves manufactures located throughout the United Sates.  In additional to the company’s core skills, J.H. Benedict also specializes in the manufacture of machined and fabricated prototype components for the heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace industries.  As a systems integrator for Fanuc Robotics for over 18 years, J.H. Benedict has established itself as a leader in robotic automation and special machinery.  Areas of automation expertise include material removal, grinding and polishing, MIG and Plasma welding, grit blasting, shot peening, material handling and machine load/unload.
