Hand Screw Machine Co is a job shop specializing in custom gear cutting and custom broaching of internal splines, hexes, squares and keyways.  We cut custom gears from steel alloys, delrin, nylon, stainless steel, brass and bronze.  We make custom spur gears, custom worm gears, custom helical gears and custom external splines. 

Hand Screw Machine Co does custom milling and grinding work.  We have single spindle lathes as well as hand turret lathes.    We have made custom parts for strapping machines. We make custom parts for pump companies as well as farm equipment and mining equipment.  We make parts for the electric utility industry including tap changers.  We have been in business since 1947.  We are located in Cleveland, Ohio and have access to heat treating and other support services.
