Grain Belt specializes in precision metal fabricated parts utilizing a blend of state of the art equipment, engineering, computer and people skills. This ensures on time delivery of parts for a wide variety of customers. We have the most modern and diversified manufacturing technology in the Midwest under one roof and our people have the knowledge skills and abilities to operate the equipment to keep our customers quality products on schedule. Challenges may present themselves along the way but we are fully capable of handling those challenges including re-design of parts, cost cutting, elimination of welds by utilizing more complex breaks, prototyping, and expedites..which is our specialty.
You may ask, ‘Have you created a particularly difficult component?’, and to that we can say ‘No, exemplary services is not a difficult component for us!’ Our specialty is value added services in one plant eliminating the need for our customer to use several different vendors for the same part and/or service different vendors to complete a part. One stop shopping also eliminates excessive freight charges as the product goes from vendor to vendor.
Our quality control is written in house with parts being checked in the laser, layout, weld and powder coat department. ISO compliance is our intent and we have quality logs in both written and database form for easy retrieval. The Grain Belt main fabrication facility is 50,000 sq. ft., the laser facility is 25,000 sq. ft., and our powder coat facility is 30,000 sq. ft. The newest laser is 9 months old while the oldest is 4 years old with a less than two year old powder coat system. Grain Belt Supply also uses AutoCAD 2005, SigmaNest, and a variety of in house programs that our programming department writes.
