Florida Production Engineering (FPE) is a privately owned minority business entity established in 1987. FPE is a full service contract injection molding company with locations in Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio and Stratford, Ontario. We are certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO/TS 16949:with Product Design.  We also have clean room molding and assembly capability (100K and 10K) certified to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485 and FDA Registered and Proven Compliance to 21 CFR Part 820.  Our product focus is on functional and decorative plastic components and assemblies for medical, recreational, consumer, aerospace, agriculture, building, marine, transportation and packaging industries.

FPE uses 6-Sigma, VA/VE and Lean Manufacturing techniques as well as a strategic mold strategy (construction, quick change and multi-cavity when possible) to provide the most cost competitive products possible.

Our injection molding capabilities range from 100T - 3000T. We process most resins including ABS, PC, PC+ABS, PP, TPO, TPE, Nylon, ASA and PE.  We utilize dedicated mold suppliers that manufacture to FPE standards.  FPE insert molds as well as provides the following in-house A-surface finishes: Chrome Plating, Mold-In-Color, Painting, Metal Stamping Overlays, Pad Printing, Silk Screen Graphics and Urethane Emblems and Trim. Additional services in manufacturing include barcode labeling, shrink wrap, kit and unitized packaging.

In addition to plastic molding FPE has a synchronous metal stamp and finish operation. We can provide graphical printing (Pad Print), various surface finishes (Brush, Lathe or Bright) and protective top coat (Acrylic Powder Coat).  We utilize both steel and aluminum metals. Maximum blank size is 12" x 17" x 0.030".

FPE provides full service technical support including Program Management, Product Design & Engineering, Validation, Rapid Prototyping, CAE, Mold Flow and FEA Structural Analysis. We have a full metrology and environmental testing laboratory.
