General focus and direction of company
We are focused on primarily performing prototype work (1-5 pieces) and light production (15-200 piece runs) with some fabrication and welding as needed. Holding close tolerances is no problem. We can work with most materials, aluminum, 304,316,174PH Stainless, high carbon and low carbon steel, machineable ceramics, plastics, composits or whatever your specific needs are. Basically if you need a job done we will do it, we don’t shy away from the difficult work to cherry pick the easier jobs as a matter of fact we enjoy the difficult jobs. If we need to put in the extra hrs to get your work done, that’s what we will do. We are constantly improving our shop and acquiring new machines and inspection equipment as we move along. No we are not a big 10-50 man shop, we will not hire people just to try and get extra work out we want only good tool makers/machinists here and not get stuck in the fill the slot philosophy we try to take on what we can handle whatever we ship will be on time and meet or exceed your spec‘s. In this line of work it’s almost imposable to keep everything in house and you have to sub some things, plateing etc but that being said we are careful with our sub selection
Facility description
1) 8,000 square foot 2 story cinder block constructed
2) 3 phase, 220 and 110 threw out entire building to allow us to put equipment were we want when we want
3) Air lines threw out facility with outlets every 10’
4) 3 ton overhead crane system on first floor
5) Second floor has crane system that allows us to move supply’s equipment etc to the second floor from the outside of the building
6) Clean inspection area away from machining processes
7) Air conditioned to enable better work environment for employees, stability for the computer systems and inspection room
8) Networked 8 station computer system on both floors
9) Very large inventory of commonly used nuts, bolts and fasteners to cut down on the hunt and seek problems some shops have the distributers carry more than we do, but not that much more
10) Every work bench has numourios electric out lets and vices, this doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you’re trying to get a job out it really helps, a couple of minutes here and there means a lot
11) Every machine station has pretty much all the tools required to perform most jobs that that machine can perform again no hunt and seek.
