Deltamec 2 Srl
Deltamec2 Precision Mechanical Components
DELTAMEC2 S. r. l. produces precision mechanical components machined, and sometimes designed too, after customer commissions. Production can include special treatments for the machined items. Production job orders include medium and large amounts. In special cases they can consist of little productions or even single items, such as in prototype making or feasibility studies related to innovative technologies. Each contract keeps into account reasonable needs of our customers and the dynamics imposed by the evolution of the domestic and international markets.
DELTAMEC2 is certified ISO 9001.
A European Story, between Germany and Italy
The story of DELTAMEC2 comes from far: when, in 1976 its founder, Mr. Claudio Tofoli decided to go back to Italy after having been employed in a big company at Kaiserslautern, Germany, and founded the “Nuova Torneria”, a little, still well equipped workshop. The latter soon stood out for a mechanical production on behalf of third parties and, consequently, for its customers, that in over 35 years have marked the increasing prestige of the “Nuova Torneria” first, up to the DELTAMEC2 today.
Here are some of the customers:L.T.E. S.p.A., VALVITALIA S.p.A. Sistems Division, De Angeli Industrie; CESAB, Faggiolati Pumps S.p.A., Masiero, Morbidelli, GAPOSA S.r.l., Gambini meccanica, Sampingranaggi, D’ANDREA.
Why chosing the name Deltamec2?
The choice of the firm name has not been made by chance, or following mere aesthetic or phonetic criteria. In Mathematical Analysis the Greek letter“delta” (_) is a symbol which represents finite differences, distinct from the infinitesimal ones (d), those related to derivatives and integrals. Well, it is quite the finite differences which literally mark the difference between high precision machining and less precise ones. Keeping this bond, even through the name, between theory and practice, marks how every work or project of ours is based upon sound bases, both theoretical and practical. The number “2” remarks the needs for the two disciplines above:theory and practice in the precision mechanics, to march together with the evolution of technology.
